Second Question of the Day October 25, 2014 Wonder where we would be today if legislation establishing the FDA had not been enacted? Wonder where we would be today if the DQSA had not passed? How many unsuspecting patients would have taken the drugs that have been recalled after passage of the DQSA and the FDA discovered contamination? How many compounding pharmacies wouldn't have clearned up their act if the DQSA had not been passed? How many patients would still not understand the difference between FDA-approved commericially available drugs and non-approved drugs?
