DOJ Targets Compounding, Food Safety, Supplements In 2016
The Department of Justice says in 2016 it will to continue to focus its investigations on illegal activities in the compounding pharmacy, food manufacturing and processing, and dietary supplements industries, with an eye to holding individuals as well as corporations accountable for their actions. Jonathan Olin, deputy attorney general in the Civil Division, also said DOJ will increasingly initiate its own probes, with a goal of making sure companies view enforcement actions as more than just the cost of doing business.
