Fifth Question of the Day October 15, 2014 As I research compounding pharmacies, I am still taken back by how so many "mom and pop" compounding pharmacies in small towns, employee 10-20 pharmacy techs, sales reps, and contracts with doctors or medicial device companies, bringing in 5 million or more on compounded products but don't consider themselves to be manufacturing, aren't registered as outsourcing facilities, and seem to think they can continue to get away with violating the law with no one noticing? The states may not notice or may turn the other way, especially in Texas, but I don't think that will be the case with the federal government.
