Second Question of the Day February 5, 2015 How many compounding pharmacists report doctors who prescribe the exact same formula of a compounded medication to 1000s or more patients and that script is brought to their pharmacy? When does a compounding pharmacy have a duty to report that a compounded medication is being prescribed by a doctor in violation of state or federal laws and regulations? What is a compounding pharmacists' incentive to report this rather than to simply make a profit and turn the other way?
