Question of the Day February 5, 2015 How many state boards of pharmacy require a formal complaint be filed before they will investigate a compounding pharmacy? How many of these state boards of pharmacy actually have statutes, rules and regulations that make this requirement as oppose to it being an unwritten rule of the board members? Aren't most state boards of pharmacy task with regulating and inspecting pharmacies that they license? If the law in a state does not allow a state board of pharmacy to investigate without a complaint being filed, then shouldn't this law be changed?
