Gay Dodson, executive director of the Texas state pharmacy board, told lawmakers last year that her agency was stymied in its ability to investigate pharmacies because of the law barring access to financial documents; State Sen. Charles Schwertner, R-Georgetown, said Monday that he authored Senate Bill 460, in part, to give the Texas State Board of Pharmacy access to any pharmacy’s financial information
