Second Question of the Day January 21, 2014 IACP makes a point that just because a compounding pharmacy "registers" with the FDA as an outsourcing facilities does not mean it is preparations are safer. Isn't the real point that the FDA is making is that once the pharmacies register and pass inspection by the FDA the compounds will be safer? In other words it is the entire process with the FDA (not just registering) that makes the compounded drugs safer?
