Facing Congressional Probe, Compounding Group Denies Helping Pharmacists Sidestep FDA
A bipartisan congressional inquiry into allegations an international compounding group helped pharmacies sidestep FDA oversight, a probe spurred by a recent New York Times article, prompted a vociferous denial Friday (Dec. 7) by the trade group, which said it would hand over internal documents that refute the article's conclusion.

Industry, GPOs Urge Dems Not To Confuse Compounding, Drug Shortage Issues
Two drug manufacturers and a trade group representing group purchasing organizations are pushing back against a recent request by House Democrats for Congress' investigative arm to probe the relationship between drug compounding, drug shortages and GPOs.
