New Regulations Impede Standard of Care
On July 25th, the Specialty Pharmacy Association of America (SPAARx) sent a letter to The Office of Civil Rights, the department responsible for enforcing the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) newly issued revisions to HIPAA regulations implementing the HI-TECH Act [78 Fed. Reg. 5566 (Jan. 25,20l3) ("final rule')].
