Third Question of the Day January 10, 2015 Did the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy just make it very clear what the rules are in its state regarding compounding of preparations for veterinary use made from bulk? The new rules states it must be done in compliance with 21 CFR 530.

530.13 of title 21 of the CFR provides:  "Nothing in this part shall be construed as permitting compounding from bulk drugs."

I guess the next question is whether or not the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy will enforce its own rule regarding animal compounding now that it has been adopted.
