Question of the Day December 18, 2014 IACP continues its same position in this press release. They state NECC was manufacturing with a license and not a compounding pharmacydespite the name New England Compounding Center. Does the press release help the compounding industry? Why or why not? Aren't there others who continue to do the same thing today, but claim they are traditional compounding pharmacies while having arrangements, contracts, advertisements, websites etc. indicating they are in fact manufacturing without a license? Wouldn't it benefit the true traditional compounding pharmacies' reputation if the compounding industry would acknowledge there is a problem in their industry (not a one time NECC deal), they stand ready and willing to assist the federal and state government to stop these violators, and that they themselves will no longer take money from, support or sponsor those who are not willing to follow the law? Why or why not?
