Fifth Question of the Day August 14, 2014 Did the compounding industry just tell on itself? If over 500,000 patients alone at Express Scripts are on compounded medications and medications are suppose to be patient-specific, not mass produced, and only prescribed when medically necessary and not otherwise why are so many patients taking compounded medications?
