Sixth Question of the Day July 20, 2014 What changes can be expected with regard to veterinary compounding with groups calling for the FDA to take enforcement action against illegal compounders, some senators calling for all veterinary drugs (including compounds) to be by prescription and not sold by vets, and the changes that have effected human compounding that spill over and impact those pharmacies doing both human and animal compounding ? Will veterinary compounding be able to survive in terms of anyone making a profit from it?
