Second Question of the Day May 16, 2014 With the possiblity that compounded preparations not only can now be contaminated but also erroneously formulated, what should consumers of compounded preparations do to protect themselves and their animals before using any compounded preparation? How can a consumer tell if a compounding salesperson, marketing representative, or pharmacists is representing the truth about a compounded preparations?
