Duties
Weigh and measure raw ingredient accurately and safely when compounding capsules, transdermal gels, flavored oral liquids and chewables for small animals.
Properly print and package compounding medication into unit dose packaging systems.
Perform compounding in accordance with formula logs and compounding procedures. 
Assure the proper maintenance, cleanliness, and use of all equipment used in the compounding process. 
Ensure personal protection by following appropriate gowning and safety procedures. 
Must be enthusiastic, confident and possess strong listening skills
Think critically and use problem solving skills.
Work closely with manager and communicate daily.

Desired Skills and Experience

Registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
Knowledge of Texas Pharmacy Rules and Laws, Federal Controlled Substance Rules and HIPPA
Problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills, customer service oriented
Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
Typing skills of 30 wpm minimum
Ability to learn other computer applications as necessary
Strong mathematic skills
