Question of the Day November 9, 2013 What if the Drug Quality and Security Act of 2013 Turns Out to Be the Best Thing that Ever Happened in the Compounding World? What if, it is like many things in life, the things we fear the most never come to pass? What if the quality and standards for compounded medications improve, there are fewer illnesses and deaths because there are less mistakes, and more consumers start using compounded preparations because they have a higher trust level, thus increasing the supply and demand of compounding medications? What if none of this happens? Congress could repeal, amend, or strengthen but at least it is a start.
