The Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products (Swissmedic) said Friday that customs authorities in the country seized more than 1 million counterfeit tablets of Pfizer's anxiety drug Xanax (alprazolam) at Zurich Airport. Laboratory testing conducted by the regulator found that the counterfeit formulations, which were intercepted in transit between China and Egypt, contained no active pharmaceutical ingredients.
