So what do the folks at the hospitals have to say about this? Is it really the hospital's fault rather than the compounding pharmacists? Who is to blame?

from a non pharmacists... could the outbreak of what ever she called it be from the way the compounded meds were stored at the hospital? i have seen that some meds need to be shelved in a certain way (cold, frozen, low light, humidity, etc) is she shifting the blame away from the hospital by blaming the pharmacy? just a question.

in her rant, i missed where she talked about the outbreak in the other 4 states. sounds to me that it was only her facility.

i listened again to her speech. i did see where she addressed two other illnesses in California as well. However, she didnt convince me that the Pharmacists was at fault. I keep thinking back on the storage of the medications, the environment that it should be stored and shelf life. I think its safe to say that is possible that both hospitals could have stored the medication in an environment that allows for bacterial growth.
