FDA Warns Of Another Outbreak Possibly Linked To Compounded Drugs (Daily News - 08-09-2013) FDA, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Texas state officials are investigating another possible compounding-related infection outbreak, FDA said Friday (Aug. 9), after 15 Texas patients were found to have bloodstream infections possibly linked to an infusion of a treatment for low calcium supplied by Texas-based Specialty Compounding.
