Fifth Question of the Day December 30, 2014 How many unapproved animal and human compounded medications from the United States are being sent to Mexico?

Copy of the Alabama Pain Center Federal Lawsuit

Fourth Question of the Day December 30, 2014 How many compounding pharmacies or clinics that use drugs from compounded pharmacies are aware that unapproved drugs are not approved for use in these pain pumps?

Third Question of the Day December 30, 2014 Are compounding pharmacies more out of control now than before the DQSA? Why or why not? With less enforcement now from most state boards of pharmacy should Congress amend the DQSA to give the FDA even more authority to get the problem under control before more deaths and illnesses occur?

Second Question of the Day December 30, 2014 If the Alabama Pain Center loses its lawsuit against the government how big an impact will this have on clinics that use compounded medications and compounding pharmacies? How much will be owed back to the government by these groups? Where the compounded drugs patient specific? Is the Alabama Board of Pharmacy involved? The FDA? The DEA? Should they be?

Question of the Day December 30, 2014 Why do more universities and colleges not have policies on the use and disposal of controlled substances, compounded medications etc.? Should they have policies regarding from whom compounded medications can be purchased such as FDA registered outsourcing facilities vs. traditional compounders? Shouldn't they all have policies? What liabilities are they exposing themselves to by not having such policies in place?
