Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy fines Pharmacist Richard Dandridge and Cherokee Hills Pharmacy $100,000.00--fradulent billint and failure to keep adequate records of compounded medications and drugs purchases

OSBP vs. Cherokee Hills Pharmacy, Inc. #36-5140 – Case No. 1252:

The Board was called to order by President Dudley to hear the case of Cherokee Hills

Pharmacy. Richard Dandridge, Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and representative for Cherokee Hills

Pharmacy was present and chose to appear without Counsel.

Assistant Attorney General, Brinda White, presented the Board with the Complaint for review.

The Respondent was charged with multiple violations of state and federal regulation and rules including providing fraudulent billing or reports for 936 prescriptions to a third party payer of prescription drugs substances and failure to keep adequate records of compounded medications and drug purchases.

Ms. White then presented the Board with an Agreed Order. If the Board accepts the Agreed

Order, The Respondent will agree to the following terms: Cherokee Hills Pharmacy admits to guilt on Counts 1-940, 943-945, 947-948, 950 and 952; the pharmacy agrees to pay $125.00 per count on

Counts 1-800 for a total fine of $100,000.00 and is due on November 21, 2013.

Motion was made by Dr. Jim Spoon and seconded by Dr. John Lassiter to accept the Agreed

Order. Motion passed on roll call vote.
OSBP vs. Richard Dandridge, D.Ph. #12894 – Case No. 1253:

The Board was called to order by President Dudley to hear the case of Richard Dandridge.

Mr. Dandridge was present and chose to appear without Counsel.

Assistant Attorney General, Brinda White, presented the Board with the Complaint for review.

Mr. Dandridge was charged with multiple violations of state and federal regulation and rules including providing fraudulent billing or reports for 936 prescriptions to a third party payer of prescription drugs substances and failure to keep records of compounded medications and drug purchases.

Ms. White then presented the Board with an Agreed Order. If the Board accepts the Agreed

Order, Mr. Dandridge would agree to the following terms: Mr. Dandridge admits to guilt on Counts 1-940. 943-945, 947 & 948, 950 and 952; Mr. Dandridge’s license will be suspended and then immediately placed on probation for five (5) years until November 21, 2018; Mr. Dandridge would agree to pay a fine of $125.00 per Count on Counts 1-800 for a total fine of $100,000.00. The fine is due on November 21, 2013; Mr. Dandridge agrees to attend a one-day (8 hour) law seminar in addition to the required fifteen (15) hours of CE during the calendar year of 2014 or 2015 for a total of twenty (23) hours of CE during the calendar year. All hours required for Continuing Education (CE)
