Fourth Question of the Day December 15, 2014: Disciplinary Records of Pharmacies or Pharmacists and Number of States Where They Do Business

Will the Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy discipline Sherry's Drug and the pharmacists involved for its recent federal litigation? What about other states where this pharmacy or pharmacist is licensed to practice pharmacy?  Will the states where the pharmacy is licensed to practice at least note it in the pharmacy's files? If not, why not?  Isn't there still a huge problem of transparency of a pharmacist or pharmacy disciplinary records?  How many places does a consumer of compounded or commercially available drugs have to look to determine the standing of a pharmacy or pharmacists that practices outside its state borders? Isn't this one of the biggest problems with compounding pharmacist still arguing that traditional compounding is a state matter--it is not--it a huge interstate business and very few compounding pharmacies stay within the boundaries of their state and most are licensed in numerous states and ship to numerous states.  Why do they not want Congress to know how "big" their businesses really are?  Should a study be done on the lack of transparency of disciplinary records and on the total number of compounding pharmacies operating outside their states and how many states they are operating in?
