Question of the Day November 8, 2014 How much are compounding organizations, pharmacies and pharmacists spending on marketing? Why in some areas are the compounding pharmacies and wellness centers running commerical on tv constantly touting compounding medications? Is the reason big pharma spends more on marketing than research because they actually spend the money on the search and development and complying with regulations that they have to market in order to stay in business; whereas, compounders who make new unapproved drugs and replicate commerically available drugs do not have the research and development cost?
