Third Question of the Day August 14, 2014 Compounders claim that in some cases they can compounded medications that are cheaper than manufacturered drugs; however, they now claim that if not covered by insurance this will cut off access to a number of patients. Wouldn't it be very interesting to know exactly how much money compounding pharamcies and pharmacists are making from compounded drugs? How much are these drugs markedup in order for compounding pharmacists to make a profit?
