Second Question of the Day August 6, 2014 If a compounding cream, gel, drug etc has its own specialized name isn't this evidence that it is "new drug" and if the compounding pharmacy is prescribing it as a one size fits all as long as it is a compounded preparation rather than a commerically available doesn't this show that federal and state law is being violated if they are a traditional compounding pharmacy? In other words if the FDA inspectors and auditors see that the exact same formula has been used on a 1000 at the same clinic and the same pharmacy isn't this possible evidence of illegal conduct?
