Challenge: Using the Medicare Database type in pain management for the area of practice and then try different well know compounding states such as Florida and Texas and see how many doctors names appear and how much money they have received from Medicare. From the database you cannot tell how many compounded preparations, if any, the doctor prescribed but it was very interesting to see the amount of money just from medicare going to pain management doctors. You can also use other areas where compounded preparations are typcially prescribed such as Dermatology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, etc.
