Texas State Board of Pharmacy Inspections

The Texas Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) requires nonresident pharmacies to obtain an inspection by a board-approved third party in order to ship compounded medications into the state. ACHC has been approved to conduct inspections on behalf of TSBP. ACHC inspectors will assess the compounding process according to Texas requirements, outlined by TSBP rule 291.133, which supersedes USP <797>. The inspection will be performed by an ACHC Inspector who has extensive experience in the area of pharmacy compounding practices.
