Compounding Pharmacy Sales Representative
We have an exciting new position for a Sales/Marketing Representative for our growing compounding pharmacy. Serve as the link between our pharmacy and the doctors along with other health professionals and clinicians. We offer many products including pain creams, scar creams, migraine creams, hormone therapy and a new cream that is treating Parkinson's Disease, which is a major breakthrough. We have a doctor that has patented products and techniques that are only available through our pharmacy. Our prescriptions are sent next day air to the patient. We offer samples for office use so patients can try creams first hand. We work with all major insurance companies so getting scripts covered is seamless for the patients.
Sales experience is a must as well as a willingness to learn new skills and actively participate in continuous relationship development and the realization of our pharmacy's team goals. , Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistant's are perfect for this job. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work autonomously with a high degree of sales proficiency.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and manage a sales territory.
- Meet or exceed quarterly, annual and long-term goals.
- Develop relationships with physicians/practitioners and their staff.
- Educate doctors/staff/health professionals via office calls, and in-service meetings
- Develop and implement patient and practitioner database to enhance focus, direction and follow-up.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year minimum pharmaceutical or other sales experience recommended, but not required.
- Basic pharmacy knowledge is helpful, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills, understanding of computer technology.
- Dedicated/strong work ethic.
- Great communication skills a must!
COMPENSATION:
Will be paid per prescription. Make $200-$500 per script. Refills get paid on the same scale. One script, with refills, will typically pay between $2,000-$3,000 over 4-6 months. Just think if one doctor wrote 10 scripts a month, which is not uncommon at all. One good doctor could pay you thousands a month with little effort. The right candidates should be making 6 figures in as little as a few months. We provide some training and equip our sales force the right tools. These include meal reimbursement, tablets to show videos, and all marketing material to get you going. We have tracking software for each prescription, so you know when it is received and when you will be paid.
