Fourth Question of the Day July 11, 2014 Have any study been done on how long patients stay on compounded pain medications? If the solution is that a patient continues to use a compounded pain medication for the rest of their life and can't live without it doesn't this in some sense of the word mean the patient is addicted to the compounded pain cream? Isn't it to the compounding pharmacies worlds' financial benefit to have patients having to use their compounded pain medications on a long term basis?
