Sixth Question of the Day November 9, 2014 Should all federal and state contracts with compounding pharmacies be audited to detect any fraud and abuse of overcharging for compounded medications in light of recent revelations of the extreme high mark up cost on this medications being charged? Should state colleges and unviersities that contract or purchase for for animal and human compounded medications also be audited and examined?

Is it possible on the human and/or animal side that the cheapest costing drugs are being purchased, but that these drugs are not compounded in compliance with federal and state law and that the proper testing is not done?
