Hearing Memo Shows NECC Denied FDA Records Access, Disputed Jurisdiction

FDA inspectors were denied records access and at one point considered reprimanding the New England Compounding Center as a drug manufacturer in investigating adverse event complaints linked to the compounding pharmacy nearly a decade ago, according to a background memo prepared by the House Energy and Commerce Committee for a hearing slated for later this week.
