Compounding Pharmacists Are Vitally Important To The Lives Of People With Autism

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) refers to a group of complex developmental brain disorders that impact social interaction and verbal and nonverbal communication.
Those with ASD may have difficulty expressing themselves verbally. They may often engage in repetitive behavior, avoid eye contact, dislike being touched, and demonstrate a sensitivity to noise.
There is no cure for ASD, yet people on the spectrum can achieve those things achieved by any other person, and can experience full inclusion in the community around them, with the right support, educational environment, physical activities, and diet and supplements.
Just last month, Miss Montana – Alexis Wineman – competed in the Miss America Pageant; she has autism.
