Whether an experienced Veterinarian or a new graduate, all Veterinarians must be vigilant to avoid conduct that increases their exposure to legal and board action liability. Fortunately, there are steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of a veterinary malpractice claim and/or a veterinary board complaint. A look at common veterinary practice issues and assistance for Veterinarians in dealing with the challenges of board complaints and malpractice.

Mr. Guiducci is a veterinary business attorney representing veterinarians in a variety of practice business transactions throughout the United States. This includes advising veterinarians on the best legal and tax structure for their practice; merging of veterinary practices, buying and selling of veterinary practices; structuring associate agreements, owner agreements and associate buy-in agreements. He is a frequent speaker at veterinary conferences and is co-author of Beyond the Successful Veterinary Practice: Succession Planning and other Legal Issues, Blackwell Press 2001. He is a Board Member with VetPartners. Mr. Guiducci is a 1986 graduate of the Washburn University School of Law.
