Sealed, Signed, Delivered: End Of Mail-Order Pharmacies?
Without significant revision to the approach the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's recent memo of understanding on compounding pharmacies takes, pharmacies that use the exceptions under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act will see limitations placed on the amount of compounded prescriptions they can dispense to their customers, say attorneys at Baker & Hostetler LLP.
