Sixth Question of the Day November 10, 2014 How can a compounding pharamcy claim it is not manufacturering when it employees 10 or more pharmacy technicians who are doing the compounding of the medication? What is a reasonable number for patient--specific, non manufacturing or is any number unreasonable because the pharmacist is the only one who should be compounding patient specific compounded medications? Should this be a factor for state boards of pharamcy and the FDA to consider? Why or why not?
