McGuire Woods: Highlights from the 2015 OIG Work Plan November 6, 2014--Compounding is On the List: Difficult choice noted for hospitals: minimize risk by outsourcing compounding requirements but lose oversight over quality assurance, or, alternatively, perform the compounding in house with greater costs and resources being expended on quality assurance.
