Second Question of the Day Ocotber 15, 2015 A compounding pharmacist faces five years in prison after admitted taking kickbacks and costing health insurors and federal health benefit programs hundreds of thousands of dollarsi; the kickbacks were paid in return for referring prescriptions for a compounded pain cream to his company. The mixture involved in the probe contained ketamine, lidocaine an diclofenac. What action will be taken by organizations that support compounding pharmacists to stop this criminal activity among compounding pharmacists? Rather than creating an enviroment that encourages and supports this type of activity what will these organizations do to change this?
