Question of the Day October 7, 2014 Do compounding pharmacies place warnings on their compounded preparations regarding issues of possible contamination risks that can occur after the compounded medications leaves the pharmacy? if so, what? If not, why not? If not, shouldn't they? What type of liability do and should they face for failing to provide this type of warning or instruction? Should compounded preparations be considered defective products without such information? Should compounders face strict liabilty for failing to warn? Is it negligence?
