I have posted this before but consumers should read it again and then ask themselves a few questions!! Shhhh! Owning a Pharmacy is Very Profitable

http://www.drugchannels.net/2009/12/shhhh-owning-pharmacy-is-very.html

In those smaller cities and rural areas, you might just count the number of employees next time you go to a compounding pharmacy and then you might do some math and have an WHOA moment when you realized just how much the pharmacy has to be making just to keep all those people employed.  Is it really a great thing that independent pharmacies keep so many people employed if it is through ill gotten gain, cooking the books, charging over inflated prices through compounding medications to Medicare and insurance companies?  You might also notice how many vacations and trips your independent pharmacists and his family take or are they always away "on business."  Check out their lifestyle.  Very common in criminal investigations for this to be a red flag if they claim they are barely making ends meet, but all the kids go to private schools and colleges, they live in million dollar homes, drive expensive cars, take multiple trips, have a lot of people on the bank roll, to name a few of the flags. Just some things to ponder when you are trying to decide what pharmacy to do business with and whether or not your compounding pharmacy has integrity and is acting in your best interest instead of based on money and greed.

Note:  Just because some or all of these signs are present does not always mean their is illegal activity.  As indicated they are just things to be considered.
