First Question of the Day: July 21, 2014 How many compounding pharmacies sell compounded medications, especially pain creams, to patients who have Medicare, Madicaid, Tricare or Hummana and also treat their sales representative as 1099 represenative for income tax purposes? How many compounding pharmacies are paying their 1099 representatives a portion or percentage of the amount the compounding pharmacies receives for that sale? What should state and federal governments do in order to recover any illegal transactions from compounding pharmacies? Tax audits? Civil law suits? Criminal Prosecutions?
