Note:Transactional and Use Immunity for Those Who May have Knowledge of Wrongdoing in the Compounding Pharmacy Industry

I have posted this before as a part of my Criminal Law 101 Series but wanted to post it again for anyone who may have inside information of wrong doing at a compounding pharmacy but fear they might also be prosecuted.  Each state's law on transactional and/or use immunity is beyond the scope of this blog entry.  The federal immunity provisions are discussed at link provided. Criminal Law 101:  DOJ/US Attorney's Office Manual Explanation of Transactional and Use Immunity  If you think you may have information regarding criminal violations in the compounding pharmacy world but are afraid that you may also be charged with criminal conduct, you should consult an attorney who is knowledgeable in federal criminal law who can discuss in more detail transactional and use immunity and whether or not you would qualify.
