Ninth Question of the Day July 11, 2014 Compounders are arguing that the greed of insurance companies are why they are now restricting the benefits they will pay for compounded medications so what is this the compounders as to why the state of Texas is now limiting benefits to $300 for compounded medications? Is it that the great state of Texas is greedy also so they have imposed limits on the benefits the state will pay for compounded medications or is it that have caught on to the fact that many compounders are not compounding for individual patients and doing what is best for that patient but instead they are mass producing compounded drugs (hormones and pain medications to name a few) because this allows compounders to make millions as they are taught by those in the compounding industry when they give lectures or talks at the pharmacy schools?
