Fourth Question of the Dday July 13, 2014 I have been very vocal about state boards of pharmacy including non pharmacists on the boards and a number of states either already had non pharmacists on their boards or have changed their laws to include nonpharmacists. Doesn't it make sensea to have some pharmacy inspectors who are not pharmacists? Some of the best compounding pharmacy inspectors might be former compounding pharmacy techs or sales or marketing representative who in fact know the ins and outs of the business, can be easily trained to do inspections and would not have the same issues of writing up a fellow pharmaists?

I don't know of any inspectors that have a pharmacist background, most come from law enforcement.
