Another Anonymous tip on the National Compounding Network posted this morning
AstroTurf. Fake grassroots organizing that sponsored by the special interests. In this case, it is big mega compounding pharmacies that buy raw materials for only $100 per prescription of topical pain creams, but then use"inflated wholesale price lists (that they do not pay), to bill insurance companies (Worker's Comp, ExpressScripts), $2,500 per prescription), so they can make an exhort inmate markup.
I don't think this phony group will get the result they want, that is, forcing ExpressScripts to change their policy and resume reimbursing for these mostly ineffective and dangerous drugs.
