12th Quesiton of the Day July 8, 2014 Those states other than Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi all live with the rule that veterinary or animal compounded preparations cannot be made from bulk? What if the entire US had the same rule? Bulk? No Bulk? Case law can be changed with the stroak of a pen for the executive or legislative branch? Should they fix this split and make a uniform rule? Did they already fix it? Is the big money in compounding for animals from bulk or from non bulk? With the ramping up the Big Pharma animal drug industry it looks like the plan is to see a lot more commerically available animal medications. Won't this be a game changer for veterinary compounding?
