Inside Sales Representative at PCCA in Houston

The Inside Sales Representative will promote and sell equipment, compounding chemicals and educational services along with other pharmaceutical products to member and/or independent compounding pharmacists and/or any other healthcare entity.
 
    • Use PCCA tools and software to analyze and discuss sales and progress with accounts and management
    • Promote  key  products, services and trends for your region
    • Shorten sales cycle
    • Bulk sales initiation follow-up
    • Re-establish relationships with specific accounts
    • 35% travel required
    • Assist sales representative with quarterly territory planning and account activities
    • Attend trade shows, seminars and/or symposiums as needed
    • Assist in equipment and supply set up and demonstrations as needed, for all events (i.e. trade shows, seminars, symposiums, etc.)
    • Work with Outside and Inside Sales Representatives to keep account activities current
    • Enter and update customer data in contact management software
    • Develop and maintain relationships with members and their teams, i.e. technicians, pharmacists, managers, owners, buyers
    • Communicate PCCA Member Benefits Program
    • Maintain customer relationships and communication
    • Support customer service and troubleshoot, as needed
    • Speaking engagements, as needed
    • Assist with related special projects, as required

Desired Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree or three years of related sales, marketing or customer service experience
    • One year of sales and one year of customer service experience
    • Prior experience cold calling
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and math skills
    • Experience with proactive sales techniques, i.e.  up selling and cross selling
    • Ability to work independently in a deadline oriented environment
    • Ability to communicate effectively in person and via the telephone
    • Advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, a contact management system and or a customer relationship management system
    • Prior presentation experience or exposure, a plus
    • PowerPoint experience, a plus
