AVMA offers Free Members Only Webinar: Compounding – Are You Playing by the Rules?

|
With the many species and conditions veterinarians treat, it’s no secret that compounding is a part of veterinary medical practice. But did you know that some common compounding practices have been supported by research while other compounds do not have as much research behind them? Did you know some compounding practices are allowed, and others aren’t, according to the FDA? Or, perhaps you’ve heard about the passage of federal legislation on human medical compounding, and you want to know more about federal advocacy activities.
To learn more about these compounding topics and have your questions answered, join the AVMA’s Council on Biologic and Therapeutic Agents and its Clinical Practitioners Advisory Committee (two volunteer governance groups composed of AVMA member veterinarians) for a free, members-only webinar at 10 AM Central on Friday, February 7. Registration is easy, and you will receive a confirmation email explaining how to join the session once you’ve finished the registration process. Space is limited, so sign up early to reserve your spot.
