The speaker, William Fixler, owns (owned) to Florida-licensed pharmacies "FH Investments" and "FH Investments, Inc". One of them, doing business as "Concern Care Pharmacy", provided compounded HCG to a diet clinic named Sci-Slim, based upon fraudulent prescriptions purportedly written by Peter Babinski, Jr, MD (who never saw the patients). Concern Care would manufacture compounded HCG in bulk, then deliver it to Sci-Slim for further distribution to patients BY UNLICENSED PERSONS (not even MDs with dispensing practitioner licenses). Rather than face discipline, William Fixler closed Concern Care (but kept his other pharmacy license that does business as "Inverness Pharmacy".

You are invited to attend this month's meeting of the CFANPC to be held on the third Thursday of the month, October 17th, 2013. It will be held at Matilda's on N. Park Ave, in Winter Park. You may remember this restaurant as "Chapter's" and other names. The meeting will start at 6:50 PM. Parking is available on the street. This promises to be a very interesting talk.
