TSBP Compounding Task Force Update. The Texas Board of
Pharmacy's Sterile Compounding Task Force completed its meeting
on April 9, recommending a number of changes in a draft report the
staff had prepared based on the group's initial 2 meetings. The
changes will result in the final report being delayed in submission to
the full Board from the May 7 meeting until August 6, at least. SB
1100 has been heard in the Texas Senate Health & Human Service
Committee and left pending. A committee substitute version is
anticipated to be voted out from the committee, perhaps as early as
this week.
