Question of the Day June 6, 2013 Why Are Some Compounding Pharmacies Able to Offer Their Compounded Products At a Much Lower Price Than Other Compoundersl? Consumers Need to Stop and Think That Maybe These Compounders Are Cutting

corners somewhere?  Are they not buying quality graded API?  Are they not conducting the proper and necessary test when needed?  Have they not invested in a state-of-the art sterile room?  If compounders are making the same product, price is not suppose to be a factor, and there is not suppose to be a huge markup, shouldn't the price for the same compounded medication from different compounding pharmacies be about the same amount?  If you are buying the compounded medication at a much cheaper price shouldn't you be concerned about the quality of the compound you are receiving?
